Halloween is right around the corner, which means both you and your kids likely are gearing up for trick-or-treating.
For many kids, Halloween is all about trick-or-treating, and perhaps it’s easy to understand why.
CNN reported an estimated 41.2 million trick-or-treaters between the ages of 5 and 14 years old celebrated Halloween last year. Meanwhile, Americans were projected to spend $2.1 billion on Halloween candy last year.
If the number of trick-or-treaters increases this year, the total U.S. spending on Halloween candy could rise accordingly. Thus, your son or daughter has every reason to believe he or she may receive more candy than ever before this Halloween. And in some instances, spending several hours trick-or-treating may even leave your child with too much candy.
At The Super Dentists, we understand the fun and excitement associated with trick-or-treating. We’re also dedicated to supporting the San Diego community, and as such, are offering a one-of-a-kind Candy Buyback program that enables kids to donate their excess Halloween candy to support several worthy causes.
How Does The Super Dentists’ Candy Buyback Program Work?
Thanks to our Candy Buyback program, your child can donate excess candy, collect extra cash and support multiple worthy causes by dropping off Halloween candy at any of our four San Diego locations.
From Nov. 1 to 4, we’ll provide your son or daughter with $1 for each pound of Halloween candy that he or she donates. Plus, we’ll donate $1 to the Classics 4 Kids music school for each $1 your child earns as part of our program. That way, your child can perform a good deed, show his or her support for Classics 4 Kids’ mission to provide custom, in-school classical music education programs and be rewarded for his or her donation.
Also, all of the candy that we collect will be sent overseas to the military. This ensures military personnel can satisfy their sweet tooth thanks in part to your child’s donation.
We’re making it easier than ever for your child to participate in our Candy Buyback program, too.
In fact, our Toothkeris will be delivering empty boxes at numerous local schools, enabling kids to drop off candy quickly and easily.
